Anne and Chad's blanket

So, I went to see their home before we went on our trip. It is adorable, btw, and Anne made dinner...which was SO good. I just wish I had Anne's cooking skills. Anyway, Anne showed me their latest gift. Now, when Chad is gone, Anne can, quite literally, cuddle up to a larger than life image of him.

Ugh, so I have tried and tried and tried to get some pictures posted from my trip. But no luck! My computer just sits there trying to load. What is the deal? Why do you hate me blogspot? Well, if I can't get it to work today. I'll just write about it and then you'll have to all be subjected to my showing you pictures individually. 

Alright, alright, alright. After much (MUCH) hounding, I have set myself down to create some blogs. So, I have created a whole bunch from the last year to catch you up all on my life. I hope you are all happy now and don't die of shock.

Little Baby Salisbury

I had such a good time visiting the Salisbury's during March! It was fun to see little Ruby. And I was lucky enough to be there for Easter as well as for wacky hair day. I did Ems' hair in a ponytail on top of her head with lots of bows around it and I did Kate's hair with ponytails all over her head. We dyed Easter eggs and Dave hid them around the yard. Kathy was had a shockingly large amount of energy for someone who had given birth a week earlier. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the week.

Communist Party?

Yep, that's right. My friends decided to do a communist party. What can I say? We really love themed parties. I had the great pleasure to attend with Marja and her sister Esther, both of whom served their missions in Eastern Europe. Their accents and attitudes were fantastic, as they really experienced them. They both dressed up as old peasant women, and I was their granddaughter. Their were communists from across the globe, and the KBG found an american spy amongst our group halfway through the party. In the first picture you see that I had not truly embraced the spirit of our party. What was I thinking? A smile? Outrageous. I improved for the next picture.

Lovefest 2008

This past Saturday, my ward put on a big party affectionately called Lovefest. It was basically our recreation of Woodstock. There was live music, games, a big banner on which we could draw peaceful things, and a lot of single LDS people dressed sort of like hippies. The magic carpet ride game consisted of two blankets. Jarom pulled me on one and Jeff pulled Emily on the other. We had to go back and forth across the gym. Despite Emily's attempt to defeat us by grabbing my shirt and holding us back, Jarom and I still dominated!
