Colorado -- 2008

I love Colorado. I must live there at some point. Yes, yes, I do enjoy the beautiful weather here in L.A., but Colorado was so beautiful and I miss the mountains.

Last week, I went to visit Jeff, MC, and family in Louisville Colorado. It was so much fun to see them and hang out with them. My trip started with a delayed flight for no apparent reason and I kept Jeff up till all hours of the night picking me up. He was so gracious about it. Little did I know that he only got about 4 hours of sleep the night before! Then when we got back, they made me food!

On Friday, I went with MC to pick out a new TV, as the previous one had been broken by a very vigorous Wii player. I love buying new electronics. Especially when someone else is purchasing it!

On Saturday, I went rock climbing. I am quite afraid of heights, so I was very very nervous. But, as Sare likes to say, "Go big, or go home." And so I agreed to try it. Noel went first and made it to the top of the almost three story wall. Well, I couldn't let her show me up! I didn't want to be the wimpy aunt. So, MC helped me get into my gear and Jeff was my safety guy at the bottom (no, I do not know the official term). To the right is me starting out climbing the wall. You can see Jeff and the bottom, ready to safe my life at any moment. When Noel came down her hands were all sweaty, which made me even more nervous because what if my hands became sweaty and slipped! So, I was determined to climb as quickly as I could in order to not let my fear of heights and falling from them overcome me. MC kept telling me I could take a break, but then I might look down, so this was not an option. I got a bit nervous as I reached the top, but I just kept climbing. To the left is a picture of me reaching the top of the three story wall. Look how determined I am! :)

The whole trip was so much fun. Jeff and MC where excellent hosts. And it was so much fun to hang out with the kids all weekend. I can't wait to visit them again when it is not quite so cold though.

I'm a little jealous....ok, I'm a lot jealous. It sounds like such a great trip. Some girls have all the fun, I guess you're one of them.

I'm glad you liked Colorado because guess who will be living there very, very shortly? That's right me. Now that I know how much you love it, you really have no excuse not to come and visit me.
